Get Me Thru November & Covid Sangria
If you're looking for a sangria with a kick, then your search is over. Sheila has created her own magic potion to help her get through the pandemic ... and November, too. Enjoy!
Note: Sheila was not harmed in the creation of this image.
Just for the fun of it, or out of shear desperation while isolating, Sheila came up with her own rockin' white sangria. This sangria is very tasty but not for the faint of heart!
1/4 cup apricot brandy
1/4 cup peach schnapps
1 (750 ml) bottle white wine
1 orange (sliced)
1 lime (sliced)
1 cup strawberries (sliced)
Ginger ale (1 cup)
Mix all items together (except ginger ale).
Hold the ginger ale.
Enjoy responsibly (like, one shot glass ... maybe two ... three tops).
Which white works best? Pinot Grigio works well for this white sangria, but any white wine will do.
Anita suggests adding the ginger ale because then you can serve in a larger glass and add the colourful fresh fruit. Sheila likes it served best without the added sparkle. You be the judge.
