Skinny Sparkling Sangria

Feeling like you need a sparkling treat without all the sugary calories? Try this Skinny Sparkling Sangria that uses organic Stevia sweetener instead of sugar.

This refreshing sangria is loaded with fresh strawberries and citrus-y fruit. It has all the tasty flavour of a white sangria but without the added calories that come from granulated sugar. Perfect for sitting and sipping during these lazy days of self isolation.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bottle champagne

  • 1/2 c. white rum

  • 1 can citrus sparkling water

  • 6 packets Born Sweet Zing Organic Stevia Sweetener™

  • 1/4 c. water

  • 1 orange sliced

  • 1-2 limes sliced

  • 1 c. strawberries sliced


Serves 4


DIRECTIONS

  1. Make simple syrup by bringing 1/4 c. water to a boil, removing from heat, and stirring in 6 packets Born Sweet Zing™. Set aside to cool.

  2. In a medium pitcher, combine champagne, rum, sparkling water, and simple syrup.

  3. Add fresh fruit and stir.

  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
