Sweet Sangria and Southern Charm Bean Dip
Anita got a chance to make and serve "You Got This, Girl!" Sangria to friends recently (from a distance, of course!). Let's just say the pitcher may have had a hole in it because the fruity white sangria (featured in Episode #12) was gone in the blink of an eye.

The simple ingredients were easy to find.
Raven Conspiracy is a white wine blend. It is a sweeter wine than the recipe calls for, but sweet is never a problem for Anita. At first sip, she felt the sangria had a rather bold taste. Next time, she may go a little easier on the Grand Marnier. It's all a matter of taste, right? As mentioned earlier, it all went in the blink of an eye!

We added frozen fruit just before serving to help the sangria stay cold.
If you're looking for a dip that will have guests scraping the bottom of the bowl as they sip sweet sangria, then this Southern Charm Bean Dip will surely do the trick.

This colourful, mouth-watering dip is a feast for the eyes.
This red , yellow, green, and black medley of zesty goodness will have your taste buds doing a happy dance. The recipe calls for diced onion. Try using one bunch of fresh green onion as your onion of choice. The green onion was not overpowering. It also added another pop of colour to this fun dip. Chill for at least one hour and serve with scoop-shaped corn chips. Delish!
INGREDIENTS
1 (12 oz) can corn
1 (19 oz) can black beans
2 Roma tomatoes, chopped (wash out seeds)
2/3 cup of onion, diced (1 bunch green onion is recommended but any onion will do)
1 celery stalks, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin
DIRECTIONS
Add each ingredient to a large bowl (in the order as listed above). Gently fold each ingredient as it's being added to the mixture.
Cover and chill in fridge for one hour before serving.
